For the past 38 years, a group of bowlers from Jersey, part of the Channel Islands, has visited South Africa to take part in bowls games against clubs across the country - Stuart Weaving's Friendship Foundation Group. This February, Bryanston Sports Club was proud to extend a hand of friendship to the talented bowlers of the foundation.
Founded as a means to promote friendship through bowls, the foundation visited Bryanston Sports Club for its 17th game out of 18 on their trip.
"We have been well received. Bryanston Sports Club has been very welcoming and we had a great reception," Stuart said after the game.
