The 100 Club Draw, as its called (we should re-name it the 150 Club Draw) originated about 20 years ago. It takes place every month; the first Friday of the month at 18h30 from February to November each year. The entrance fee is R 10 per month (most members pay upfront or for the rest of the year). Each month the Club (or members of the 100 Club) pay-out some R1250.00 in prize money to themselves. The winner of the Main Prize (R850.00) buys a drink or two for his/her mates so the evening goes on! You are warned that this event should not be witnessed by children, as the “Draw-master” (who is very old) has a particular penchant for bad language |
