Bowls

Our greens, of which we have two, are currently "A" graded and surrounded by beautiful indigenous gardens. We have our own separate bowlers tea-lounge which we refer to us the 'Sun Lounge' where our members enjoy midgame refreshments - the cost of which is included in our annual subscription.

Our social bowling 'Tabs-In' days are Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturdays & Sundays and are well supported and enjoyed by our members. Special attention is given to pensioners on Tuesday & Thursdays where they are not required to wear formal bowls attire.
Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays are formal days where full club bowls regalia is required to be worn. Unlike many other clubs, the support we have at our 'tabs-in' sessions is the lifeblood of our Club and contributes greatly to the success of our bowlers in internal and external competitions.

We have good fellowship with our neighbouring Clubs and our members enjoy the annual inter-club competitions where we compete on a friendly, but still competitive basis.
In particular, we are proud to be the winners - for the 3rd consecutive year - of the prestigious 'Sandton Mayor's Trophy', also an annual event which takes place between Bryanston Sports, Morningside, Rivonia and Wendywood.

We are 1 of 3 Clubs in our district to stage an annual sponsored Easter Tournament where we enjoy the support and sponsorship of Absa, Black & White Whiskey, Perfect Delivery Brokers, and various suppliers of bowling equipment.

We are affiliated to Central Gauteng Bowls Association as well as Bowls South Africa and our membership includes a number of elite bowlers who represent our District and Senior National sides.

Our Entertainment Committee is extremely active and they organise many social functions throughout the year, which also include outings to Restaurants and Theatres.
